Elyon Cannabis Statement On Vaping Safely

As you have likely heard, there has been more than one occurrence of serious illness, and even death, associated with tainted vape cartridges. Now more than ever, its critical that you do your research into what you are buying. Do not purchase anything off the street, regardless of price, availability, or ease of access.

Why are vape cartridges causing issues all of a sudden?

Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration uncovered one of the main culprits responsible in vape related illness and death – Tocopherol-acetate, better known as vitamin e-acetate. Investigators collected samples from the cartridges of those afflicted to arrive at this conclusion.

Bootleg cartridges are becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Those that manufacture them, in their basements, garages, or wherever it may be, know that people are becoming wiser to the difference between good and bad carts. Because of this, they look for ways to legitimize their oil, using thinners, thickeners, and flavorings. These additives, one of which is vitamin-e, can have life-threatening effects. Perhaps more frightening, we do not know what these additives (like vitamin-e) do to our lungs in the long term. Now more than ever, we need to come together as an industry and put health first. Say no to unregulated vape cartridges.

Are Elyon’s cartridges safe?

From the start, our focus at Elyon has been to consistently provide a safe product. We have done everything in our power to make sure the product you consume is 100% unadulterated with chemicals, pesiticides, or additives – whether it be flower or concentrate.

We take great pride in sharing the magic of cannabis with you. Our products never contain diluents, cutting agents, synthetic terpenes, artificial flavorings, or additives in our cartridges. When you consume an Elyon cartridge from a licensed shop,  you are putting your health first.

The number one way to safely consume vape carts is purchasing through a licensed shop. Anything purchased outside a licensed dispensary or delivery service is unregulated, and more than likely tainted. Bootleg cartridges are likely not going away anytime soon, and the only way to stop them is to not purchase them.

In an effort to further the cannabis industry, we are doing our part to ensure we bring nothing but the cleanest, purist, safest products to market – time after time. All we ask is that you do your part, and avoid any unlicensed products. Put your health first, and stay safe.
